Kashmir Creative Education Foundation (KCEF) a registered society established in 1997 to further the cause of education and to disseminate quality education at par to the modern demands. Kashmir Creative Education Foundation (KCEF) Is located at Payer Road Pulwama KCEF is presently running bachelor's course of Education (B.Ed) since 2002. The college is recognized by J&K Govt. and affiliated to the University of Kashmir. The college has the Intake capacity of more than 400 students, as such It Is amongst the top colleges of the valley and the only college of Distt. Pulwama which has the Intake capacity of more than 400 students. The society is running BA.LLB (5 year course) and LL.B (3year course) which is affiliated to Bar Council of India and University of Kashmir. In addition, the society is running chain of Higher Secondary and High schools in various parts of Distt. Pulwama. The campus in terms of Infrastructure is rich and the usable floor space of the four storied building is spread over 40 thousand Sfts. The college has a separate Library block, administrative block. The campus is spread over more than 40 kanals of land with facilities for sports and co- curricular activities. In addition to the academic activities the college is believing in unleashing the talent and the capabilities of the students by organizing seminar, debates, symposiums and workshops. The college is in tie with meaningful national and international originating to promote the student talent. The conference hall of the college is always busy with national and international experts and resourceful people for the exposure and upliftment of the students. KCEF is housed in a modern style building, which are located in the calm and green environs. The campus spreads on a vast stretch of greenery and salubrious surroundings. The impressionist-style building retains its charm and charisma despite situated in the greens. Three blocks which are interlinked with vide corridors give a majestic look to the campus main block houses the administrative section, whereas the flanking building housing the classrooms, library, computer room and faculty chambers, along with all the other administrative paraphernalia. KCEF is situated within a reachable area of some of the major courts of the region. The courts located in the immediate vicinity of the School are •HIGH COURT SRINAGAR •District and Session Court Pulwama/Shopian/Anantnag *Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar *Civil Judge (Senior Division) *Civil Judge (Junior Division) *Judicial Magistrates. Pulwama/Shopian/Srinagar/Anantnag The High Court of J&K is also located at a nearby city- Srinagar. Regular periodic visits to these courts have been planned for the students and are a part of the regular curriculum. Library KCEF is equipped with a high-tech library. The most modern innovations in the field of library and information sciences are in use. A large number of quality books on different subjects are available. Quite a few Law Journals like AIR, Supreme Court Cases, Criminal Law Journal etc, Periodicals, and Reporter Law magazines etc. and regular subscriptions to all major National and Regional newspapers aim to keep our budding lawyers abreast with the latest news and happenings. With total of about 10000 books, reference material and journals, no student at KCEF shall ever need anything more. The textbook section and the Journals and periodicals section of the library have different timings. The textbook section opens at 10.00am and is open till 5.00pm, though books are not issued after 4.00pm. the Journals and Periodicals section will soon be fully searchable on a computerized database and this is very useful indeed. A similar database of journal articles is also in the process of being complied. Each student is issued a library card and is allowed four books on it, for a period of seven days. The books have to be returned by the stipulated time, failing which a strict fine is incurred. The journals and periodicals section is open from 10.00 am till 5.00pm the library offers up-to-date equipment to facilitate hassle free sharing and distribution of information – electronic as well as physical.
