BA,LLB (Integrated 5-year course)

This is an integrated 5-year course which was conceived with an objective to bring legal education at par with other professional courses like medicine and engineering, where a student fresh out of high-school can make an immediate career choice. Eligibility for BA,LLB (Integrated 5-year course) 10+2 with 45% for open and 40% for reserved category. The curriculum for the courses is a mix of social-science subjects and legal subjects. In the first two years, a student at KCEF will be taught History, Political Science, Sociology and Economics along with the standard legal subjects. After that it is mainly legal subjects that constitute the curriculum. In the final year the students get to specialize in whichever areas they like and to do seminar courses in them. There is a plethora of Seminar Courses offered right from Air & Space law and Medical Law to Cyber Laws.

LL.B (3 year programme)

This is a 3 year course which deals entirely with areas of lrgal education. Practical training will be imparted by the faculty and other eminent professionals. Visits to courts located at Pulwama, Srinagar Shopian and Anantnag have also been planned at regular intervals. Eligibility: Graduation or Post Graduation with 45% for open and 40% for reserved category.

Bachelors of Education (B.ED)

Unless otherwise notified by the Kashmir University, the B.Ed. shall be a whole time course of minimum two academic years duration(4 semesters from 2015-onwards). A candidate admitted for B.Ed programme shall not be eligible to attend any course or appear in any examination other than the B.Ed. except candidates with any backlog or those who had to appear any examination scheduled prior to his admission in B.Ed for session who has secured reappear in only one course/paper of an examination (other than the qualifying examination) or was scheduled to appear in the examination either as a regular or private candidate before the commencement of class work of B.Ed. course but could not do so on account of delay in the conduct of said examination even after he/she has been admitted to the B.Ed. course. Eligibility for Bachelors of Education - B.ED The candidates having Bachelor’s degree or PG with 50% [General] and 45% [Category] marks in any disciplines from the University or any other recognized University as hold equivalent there to by the University, are eligible for B.Ed Admissions. The Graduate teachers under 10+2+2 scheme with minimum two years teaching experience in Government/government-recognized private schools, are also eligible to apply for the said Admission.
